Parents Support Group

The Parents Support Group (PSG) supports the Wight Foundation’s
mission to make a world of difference in the lives of young people. Their primary
goal is to facilitate cooperation and communication between the families, the scholars
and the administrative staff. They advocate for the Wight Foundation by participating
in activities attended by our scholars, and coordinate annual events to bring Wight
Foundation families together. The PSG provides a mechanism to coordinate responses
to the issues that may confront our families. They offer a “hotline” to provide
emotional support and practical advice. Annually, the PSG provides “CARE” packages
to all Wight Foundation scholars. They also support recruitment and public relations
efforts and serve as volunteers in support of the Wight Foundation staff.
