The Wight Foundation seeks 7th grade students with high
intellectual curiosity and academically competitive profiles. Our Scholar Training
& Enrichment Program (STEP), an eleven-month preparatory program to ensure the
success of our scholars, is part of our application process.

|
Completed applications are read as they are submitted
to the Wight Foundation office; therefore it is to an applicant’s advantage
to return his or her completed application before the deadline.
|
|
While our application process is comprehensive, those
students who go on to become Wight Foundation Scholars receive support beyond their
high school years.
