Our Admissions Staff looks to identify 7th-grade students who are intellectually curious and academically competitive. It is also important that students demonstrate strong character skills and a sincere desire to make a world of difference in the lives of others. Along with a strong academic profile, the student should be active in extracurricular activities in their school and community. They should also have a sincere desire to attend boarding school. In addition, candidates should also demonstrate intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, concern for others and a sense of community.

The Recruitment Team visits schools, churches, and community-based organizations throughout the Greater Newark Area. Although the majority of our students reside in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, and Union counties, students who reside within an hour driving radius of Newark, New Jersey are also welcomed to apply.
